About Me

My name is Stewart Bell. I’m an editor and journalist, specialising in Formula One.

It is my passion to create articles, publications and digital products that are insightful, informative, visually arresting and snapped to style. I stand for meticulous planning and research, innovative angles and exclusive quotes. I always give my best.

An F1 specialist, I have provided extensive solutions – both print and digital (including live text commentary) – for respected news outlets such as Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post and News Corp Australia at Grands Prix.

I cut my teeth with Australian Motorsport News magazine on state and national Formula Ford and then Australian Formula 3. I went to Macau to cover the FIA Intercontinental Cup of Formula 3 for Australian Motorsport News Magazine, Pitpass.com and News Corp Australia in 2006.

As an editor, I have project managed more than 50 magazines to print – a selection of automotive, sports, technology and lifestyle titles – for Citrus Media (formerly Derwent Howard Media), Edge (Custom Media) and News Corp Australia. I’ve created custom publications for a variety of clients including the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), Cricket Australia, V8 Supercars and IMG.

As a journalist, I have created features, reports and copy for a number of private clients including Melbourne’s Herald Sun and Sunday Herald Sun, Sydney’s Daily Telegraph, Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post, Etihad Airways, Shell Australia, FHM, GQ, TRMG UK and Emirates.

As a broadcaster, I’m producer on weekly TV show The Inside Line – the only weekly program 100 per cent dedicated to Formula 1, with the most comprehensive coverage of the World Championship.
